hi all,

Ive been doing some research for my fellow druids and found that there are afew points not explained here that need to be.
First, uncritable for us is 475 or 415 if you have the Survival of the FIttest maxed out.
Second, we cant be made uncrushable. The best we can do is get a good dodge ratting, if we were at 102% avoidance(that magical uncrushable number) we would never get hit and have no rage to generate threat.
It is recommended that in bear from we have around 20k in armor. I have not tried yet, but not sure what wed have to have to get that high. The armor cap is 35,880 and that is the max reduction in damage that can be had. It is recommended that we also have 12k health for heroics and Kara.

I have not found a threat rotation yet, as tankspot seems to be a mainly warrior page. Anyone that has one is welcome to post it hear.

What you folks probably saw as a failure was far from it this weekend with Tidewalker. We got through that trash, which can be as lethal as the trash through TK if the group does not focus. Great effort from everyone!

Now, some will ask why did we attempt something that no one knew the strat to? well, the strat is pretty simple. We all have learned that you need to see every element of the fight before we do it. We saw every element the other night but one. He is very downable, but there are three things we can do to help.

Read this guide, focusing on Method 2. It is almost exactly what we tried. However, there is one difference in positioning.

First: Looking at the overhead of his room, I will be tanking him against the right side of the doorway in that picture. He will be facing his back to the left side of the doorway, where in essence you take that entire chain of graphic (MT, Morogrim, Melee DPS + Murloc Tanks, and Ranged DPS and Healers), and turn it so it chains in that order from right to left in that doorway. You will be (if ranged and a healer) Just far enough back so you can shoot and have the 130% aggro Threshold.

Second: When 25% hits, all players must ensure they are on the outside of his room in that doorway. To most experience, the bombs will not enter the hallway. This may be different, so you must put it on yourself to move independently out of the way.

Also, as the fight went on some small adjustments on the fight itself:

1: The tanks for the Murlocs (Spare Warriors, Feral Druids, The Prot Paladin) need to actually grab the packs. Avenging Shield, Faerie Fire, Demorializing Shout. I will have more aggro than the Prot Paladin in alot of situations (due to the nature of Threat generated by a raid in a multi mob encounter), but once they are pulled, take them to the AOE zone, and have at it.

Just so everyone is aware, there is a strong chance that right around the week after July 4th we will be starting ZA groups and condensing to one Kara run to round off those who need it. We can still run two Karas if needed, but essentially ZA is better for the guild progression.

In the meantime, here is a link to the new bosses in ZA, none are too hard and are more of a coordination check than anything.

Pick which day would be best for you! Also look to see how many people are signed up on each day. If there are excess people signed up for one day, if possible sign up for a different day!

Lets get all 3 groups going for bagde and gear needers!

In talking with my brother, he had mentioned a simple addon for Void Reaver that helps with the Orbs....It has since been updated to work with 2.4.2 .......

And This is what it's supposed to do:

Turns your whole screen deep blue when you are in range of an incoming arcane orb. Also shows you distance and direction of nearby orbs so you'll know where to run. It's almost too easy!"

The text "VoidReaverAlarm loaded!" will appear in the chat window when you start the client and the addon is active. Because its main task is to exchange information about the fight, all members of your raid should have it to get the best results. During the fight, you and your raid members will be protected by the addon's two main functions:

1) It recognizes when the boss targets you (meaning that an arcane orb will be heading your way shortly) and sends a warning including your coordinates to the raid. Of course, classes with rage and paladins with Righteous Fury will not trigger any warnings.

2) When a relevant warning comes in, your screen will turn blue and the distance and direction of that orb (or bomb as I call it) will be displayed. As soon as you walk out of range or 10sec have passed, the screen will become normal again.
